SHI FANG Fine Art

SHI FANG Fine Art is since 2010 dedicated to contemporary
art focusing especially on abstract art. Several solo and group
exhibitions at the gallery are each year presenting artists
from various artistic and cultural backgrounds. On one hand,
the gallery represents artists from China and Asia in general,
and on the other hand, based on the gallery’s location in
Düsseldorf, German and European artists are shown. SHI
FANG Fine Art sees its role to function as a platform for
exchange and on-going development of abstract art.

This interest is reflected through the selection of art works
shown. Due to the diversity of the background and
techniques used, the art works are opening up new fields of
discourse about visual effect and its connection with material.
The gallery functions as intermediary between artists,
collectors and institutions interested in art. Therefore SHI
FANG Fine Art is especially paying attention to a
comprehensive mediation and communication of its artists
and their intellectual examination of their environment, as
well as, their own works. Overall, the gallery aims at
contributing to the discourse on demands, values and
standards of international art today.
