The artpa eV. envisions its founded gallery in the Südvorstadt as a platform for young contemporary art, a spatial network where playful experimentation with various artistic means can take place. We are particularly interested in intermedial expansions of classical forms of design: painterly, graphic, and sculptural forms can merge with textual, visual, filmic, acoustic, or virtual elements to create multidimensional complexes that reflect the diversity of modern modes of perception. Classical media meet new media, and traditional presentations encounter installation-based setups.
