Marco Reichert

Born in 1979, the artist received his master's degree in Fine Arts/Painting under Prof. Antje Majewski at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee. Through his oil paintings, he guides the viewer into a realm that straddles reality and abstraction. His sources of inspiration range from images of chaotic particle systems, such as smoke and emulsions, to scientific electron microscope photographs. Reichert translates this information into his own unique painterly language, liberating it from its real origins and creating a new, unfamiliar, abstracted visual world.
