Born in 1974 in Leipzig
1991 - 1996 Studied at the Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst Leipzig (HGB), among others with Wolfram Ebersbach and Neo Rauch
1991 - 1996 Specialized class in Painting/Graphics under Prof. Sighard Gille, graduated with honors
1996 Free study stay in New York City
1998 - 2001 Advanced studies at HGB Leipzig with Prof. Sighard Gille, title of Meisterschüler
2000 Scholarship from the Eduard Bargheer Foundation
2001 Scholarship from the Free State of Saxony
Since 2004, teaching position at HGB Leipzig in the Painting department
