Joachim Kakau

Joachim Kakau, born in 1963, is a native of Lower Saxony and lives near Osnabrück.

He has been photographing since the age of 16, primarily in black and white, and has worked with his own darkroom from the very beginning.

The focus of his work is the representation of the abstract—often drawn from nature—highlighting simple forms that allow the eye and thoughts to glide along.
