Ines Lechleitner
In the REISEBÜROGALERIE, Ines Lechleitner presents a series of photographs from the region surrounding the mountain massif 'La Chartreuse' in France, adjacent to the monastery 'Grande Chartreuse' founded by 'Bruno from Cologne'. The traditional Selet cheese comes from the dairy 'Le Habert' in Entremont-Le-Vieux. In her opening photograph, Lechleitner simulates the perspective of a cheesemaker looking at a mountain in the surrounding landscape, blending imagination/cliché with reality, natural form with the experience of nature.
Ines Lechleitner (Berlin/Vienna) studied photography and media art at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris under Patrick Faigenbaum and Jean-Francois Chevrier and was a researcher at the Jan Van Eyck Academy in Maastricht. For her installations, performances, and art books, she employs various media such as photography, sound and video recordings, as well as drawings.
