Harald Torp

The sketcher, sculptor and painter Harald Torp studied
Sculpturing in London and Newcastle and lives and
works today in Hamburg.
He engages himself with painting, film art, sketching,
sculpture and text (text as image). Jumping to a new
thought: there is a a short developement, almost a
story. The paintings, too, are about people who are
striving for new, different solutions. Some themes seem
biblical. People turn away from and again to something.
Appearance, stage, act. The videos deal with desire. The
sculptures are rooms, places to drill. Language is
isolated.
