Daekwan Kim

The Korea-born Float Glass artist Daekwan Kim, who works in both Korea and Germany, sought to broaden his artistic horizons after studying painting at Chugye University of the Arts in Seoul and a brief stint as an art teacher in Korea. He enrolled in the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle, focusing on painting with an emphasis on image, space, object, and glass, under the guidance of the renowned professor Christine Triebsch, and successfully completed his studies.
