Agnieszka Pastuszka
* 1983
Agnieszka Pastuszka, born in 1983, studied at the Kunstakademie Münster from 2005 to 2010 under Katharina Fritsch and Maik and Dirk Löbbert, before transferring to the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 2010 to join Tomma Abts' class.
Her artistic approach, related to Constructivism, is characterized by both strict formal and intuitive, process-oriented thinking, as well as the rhythmic organization of geometric shapes. Through the sensitive combination of forms and lines, a visual construct of thought emerges, grounded in a constant interplay of association and interpretation. The works are autonomous objects that simultaneously embody the likeness of something alive.
