Achim Sakic

Achim Sakic (*1965, Klein-Zimmern, Darmstadt) studied from
1983 until 1990 with Peter Dreher at the Staatliche Akademie
der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe/Freiburg. Sakic integrates
works of other art colleagues into his drawings. While he first
draws copies of their works, he then alters these quotations by
changing the perspective or using spatial blurring. Technical
perfection makes Sakic’s oeuvre appear unreal, tempting the
viewer to try to figure out the drawings.
