A duo exhibition featuring Stefan Gröpper Photography and Ali Zulfikar. Both artists primarily portray elderly individuals, drawing the viewer into the stories they tell through their eyes, expressions, and tension-filled features, thereby creating an emotionally resonant and profound connection to these expressive portraits. Ali Zülfikar envisions the people in his mind's eye and transfers that image onto the canvas with hand and pencil, while Gröpper explores the individuals through their eyes, capturing the emotions and personalities he perceives with his camera.

They work with an unusually intense lighting: every crease, scar, notch, or wrinkle, every fine hair is captured in intricate detail.
