The artist Roswitha Schardt, who lives in Solingen, is exhibiting in Düsseldorf for the first time.

For this premiere, we were able to convince her to share her figure drawings with a wider audience. The swift, clear strokes, the dynamic line work, and the objective perspective create naturally appearing pieces with a realistic expression that still allows the imagination to run free through deliberate reduction.

Roswitha Schardt only turned to art and free painting on her second attempt. Yet it is precisely this life experience that is reflected in her works.
