"The Light on the Water" beautifully encapsulates the artistic mission and ambitions of the Korean master of glasswork, DAEKWAN KIM. He aims to transport us into a world of movement and flow, created from static yet "fluid" glass elements.

With simple yet technically intricate means, his float glass objects lead us into a realm of tranquility that simultaneously begins to "flow" with the viewer's slight movements, thanks to the three-dimensional structure of the pieces: abstract forms start to transform into blossoms or leaves, and the green and blue light reminds us of the changing colors of water depending on the time of day and the angle of light.
