Valentina Bardazzi
received her education at several art institutions in Florence and Pistoia, Italy. From 2002 onwards she works as an independent artist and lives and work currently in Berlin. In her works, detailed paintings on wood using acrylic and coffee drops, she explores human body, focusing on details and imperfections, as beauty is what makes them stand out from the others, so what makes them unique, different from the collective.
“True perfection does not exist, the sense of beauty comes from imperfection.” In the attainment of perfection, there is always the need for an element of ugliness. When the ugliness is there, it is often overlooked—either intentionally or unintentionally, but perhaps when it is overlooked, true perfection is obtained.
The artists see the human body as a sensor - an antenna, if you will - that contains, measures and absorbs objects, thoughts and waves, and with this idea in mind, they go look deeper into the layer of skin in which everything absorbed from daily life remains entangled—the owner of the body does not need to speak of their experiences; the bodies speaks on its own.
She has exhibited in several european cities and actually collaborates with DRONE berlin party, with her sweet but also cruel images for the flyers.

EGO SUM
Name, race, profession and adjectives indicate a condition of space / time. The space / time is a dimension that is losing its predominance. Without it remains only the being who has nothing else except himself. Positive needs negative to exist. As well as the light needs darkness and viceversa.
Wrong and right are the balance of Creation.
EGO SUM means to accept and understand all the parts of human being, who becomes aware of being able of choosing what and how to be.
EGO SUM in this case means having the awareness of saying: " I am, yes me too". We are all gods and demons, masters and slaves, victims and perpetrators, right and wrong. It´s in the knowledge of the opposites that the free will is manifested as a revelation.
