. Thitz
Born in 1962, he studied painting with Sonderborg at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart from 1983 to 1989. In 1985, he created his first bag paintings.
He continued his studies with Pijuan at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Barcelona in 1989. In 1990, he received a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service.
In 1993, he collaborated with the International Society of Fine Arts in Bonn.
In 1994, he was awarded the Förderpreis by the Association of Visual Artists of Württemberg.
In 1996, he received a scholarship from the "Centre d'Art Contemporani Piramidón" in Barcelona and initiated the "Art-Politics Dialogue" project with support from the Ministry of Family, Continuing Education, and Arts of Baden-Württemberg.
In 1997, he continued the "Art-Politics Dialogue" project with support from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture of Schleswig-Holstein. In 2001, he held his first exhibition in a public space in New York (German House), which was featured in Flatiron Magazine. In 2004, his work was acquired by the Museum Sammlung Frieder Burda in Baden-Baden. In 2005, it was purchased by the Würth Collection in Künzelsau, and in 2006, it was acquired for the permanent exhibition at the Museum Offenburg.
