Stefanie Rogge lives and works as a freelance artist, graphic designer, and owner of the rogge advertising agency near Hanover.

In her studio, she creates not only abstract works but also many figurative pieces. The large-scale abstract works are often inspired by coastal landscapes, reflecting the light, colors, and rugged cliffs. She frequently employs collage techniques, incorporating materials like linen and corrugated cardboard. Through layers and glazes, she captures the charm of these regions. In her figurative series, she also works expressively and impulsively, often addressing social issues. For example, in the series "Kühe codiert," she critiques how animals are treated as commodities in our consumer society. Similarly, her current series "One of the big five" tackles the themes of big game hunting and poaching, which threaten many species with extinction.
