Monstfur (PL)
Monstfur is a native art organism that feeds on the products of modern life and the cultural detritus of past generations. Its artists express themselves on rusty steel surfaces, unnecessary signs, and, not least, on walls.
Paintings created by the collective can be found at prominent exhibitions such as the Stroke Art Fair in Munich, where their works are displayed alongside those of high-profile artists like Banksy.
In 2015, Monstfur received the Grand Prix at the Stencil Art Prize competition held by Ambush Gallery in Sydney.
Their works have been showcased in solo and group exhibitions in Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, Sydney, and Warsaw. They have also found a place in important museum collections in Poland (Muzeum Śląskie w Katowicach).
