"Galerie an der Ruhr"

is located within the Ruhr Complex "Ruhranlage" of Mülheim, a small town in the Ruhrgebiet (River Ruhr District) near Düsseldorf and Essen - just a short walk away from the historic CASINO Building which was constructed in 1841 by the famous master builder Kreisbaumeister Damen. The CASINO building used to house the Community Casino, a place where bourgeois communal events took place over a period of around a hundred years. The CreativeHouse of the RuhrGallery Ruhrstreet No. 3 operates as an artists' centre offering space for concentrated working processes and various projects - ART Exhibitions are presented in the former warehouse-rooms (Kolonialwaren) and in the "PIANO NOBILE / Belle Etage".
