Darkness is the enemy of the visible; brightness brings the hidden into our awareness. However, standing in the light does not mean that there is no space for mystical elements. Accentuating and equalizing – immersing and highlighting – the double-image sculptures of Lea Oetken and the paintings of Inga Aru generate a metaphorical power. Fragility and presence intertwine within an aura of transparency and multilayeredness.
