Finissage der Ausstellung LUSTWANDELN - Malerei

"Lustwandeln," the nearly forgotten art of leisurely and aimless wandering through the landscape, serves as a metaphor for the works in the current exhibition.

In the act of Lustwandeln, space and time become uncoupled, images arise and fade away. This mode of movement stands in stark contrast to the prevailing rhythm of our efficiency-driven world, focused on maximum output.

With joy and without haste, Linde Hartmann transforms her paintings into a deeply personal perspective on the present: In the large-format piece that gives the exhibition its title, we encounter strangely motionless figures, each captured in a unique expression between contemplation and expression. A delicate network of lines echoes the inner form of the figures and overlays the surface like a second layer. Here, time has been inscribed into the painting process in a very tangible way.

And those familiar with the artist's work know that Lustwandeln also encompasses the joy of change. Linde Hartmann has not confined herself to a narrow artistic viewpoint in exploring this theme, instead presenting us with a diverse range of painterly expressions.
