Richard Hess has since the seventies of the most renowned sculptors of the contemporary art in Germany.
In his now four-decade-long creative life he has succeeded in a unique way to maintain the figurative sculpture against the prevailing tendencies in sculpture and the Nonfiguration her to open with its current agenda is social-political sensitivity and significance.
