Franziska Strauss Reckoner / I killed my dinner with karate - Photographie

We are excited to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the gallery in March with a very special exhibition and to introduce a new artist: In her first solo show "Reckoner / I killed my dinner with karate," Franziska Strauss, born in 1984 in Cottbus, will present photographs that explore the theme of dance.

And we can promise an extraordinary premiere: Franziska Strauss "is on the trail of an indescribable sense of this inner, authentic language of the body, which touches unadorned on the truth of being, on pure life," writes Günter Baumann in a text about the artist's work, speaking of "perfectly formed images, whose inner eroticism and outer aesthetics are in rare harmony with each other," and of "abstract body images that are hardly surpassed in sensual radiance, revealing the essence of dance."
