One must be able to linger, to pause for a moment and absorb the shimmering that hovers over a summer meadow. Nico Namara's representations do not appear static; rather, they seem to be captured in passing, frozen in a fleeting moment. In a reinterpretation of Pointillism, Nico Namara presents the "well-known nature" in a completely new light. The countless dots are no longer meticulously placed on the canvas but are instead dripped onto the canvas from a distance. This creates artworks that reveal their true beauty only when viewed from afar.
