Cornelia Enderlein Michael Kilian Wagner Oliver Dehn Young-Sik Lee
Four young artists come together for an exhibition presentation. What do we encounter when we look at the artworks? Cornelia Enderlein reflects on the human experience in all its facets on both social and cultural levels. Michael Kilian Wagner awaits the emergence of his figures. Oliver Dehn consciously avoids interpretative patterns in his painting.
And Young-Sik Lee captures the moment with his life-sized protagonist, who is sometimes seated and sometimes standing. The viewer finds themselves amidst these various interpretations, surrounded by portraits and representations of people, silent figures, and fictional motifs that serve as metaphorical references to reality. The painting styles of the four artists make the invisible visible.
Somewhere in between.
