Marius D. Kettlers works with day glow colors correlate contrasts and similarities, that then appear to lead to a color congruity. Though at the same time the noncontrasts become the color sensations. How does the day glow paint interact with the normal paint?

These color rooms create an irritating opposite from the arbitrary to the suspenceful. The exploration of color and its boundaries is the theme in these works. The creation of color rooms with endless depth and a bold three dimensional quality, is one of the challenges in this body of work.
