MIT HAND UND FUSS

The exhibition "WITH HAND AND FOOT" at Kunstverein Neukölln in Berlin will take place from March 21, 2026, to May 8, 2026. In this exhibition, artists Christina Paetsch and Hildegard Skowasch present a variety of works, including collages, photographs, watercolors, ceramics, and objects made from found materials.

The two artists engage with the themes of hands and feet in their work, exploring the tensions between anatomy and expression, disgust and beauty, as well as vulnerability and strength. Christina Paetsch focuses on details of hands and feet in her photographic works, shifting scales and offering a new perspective on body parts through fragmentation. Her found-object pieces further this exploration by placing pre-existing materials in new contexts and making visible the traces of touch and wear.

Thus, the exhibition provides a space for reflection on the materiality and significance of physicality, with the artists' works evoking both intimacy and irritation.
