60 JAHRE EDITION GEIGER
The exhibition "60 Years of Edition Geiger" will take place from January 11 to February 28, 2026, at the Galerie Geiger in Konstanz. This event marks a significant milestone in the history of the gallery, which was founded in 1975. Nine years earlier, in 1966, the screen printer Roland Geiger began producing handcrafted outstanding serigraphs that quickly caught the attention of the art world.
Between 1966 and 1995, over 500 original graphics were created for around 100 artists, many of which are now represented in major graphic collections and auctions. Roland Geiger's serigraphs are distinguished by their exceptional precision and are known for masterfully translating the aesthetics of pastel or watercolor surfaces into screen printing. Particularly remarkable is Geiger's ability to print on ultra-thin Japanese paper using up to 38 colors, which makes the prints nearly indistinguishable from unique pieces.
The exhibition will showcase a selection of these significant serigraphs, honoring the artistic and craftsmanship achievements of Roland Geiger as well as the development of Edition Geiger over the past six decades.
