Grafische Arbeit

The exhibition "Grafische Arbeit" at Galerie Gebr. Lehmann in Dresden runs from March 27 to May 16, 2026, showcasing works by the artist Eberhard Havekost. More than 40 prints created between 1999 and 2013 will be on display, including pieces that have rarely been exhibited before. Havekost, known for his painting, began producing prints in 1999, initially linking them thematically to his paintings, but over time, they have evolved into an independent body of work.

In collaboration with the Grafikwerkstatt Dresden, Havekost developed a special four-color hand offset printing technique, which represents a manual variant of offset printing. This technique could only be applied using the printing press available there. The exhibition thus provides insight into the artist's graphic practice and highlights the development of his prints within the context of his overall artistic output.
