LET US BELIEVE IN THE DAWN OF SPRING
The group exhibition "LET US BELIEVE IN THE DAWN OF SPRING" will take place from March 13 to April 25, 2026, at the Anahita Sadighi Gallery in Berlin. This exhibition explores cultural memory, rituals, and the interplay of space, light, and perception. The starting point is the Persian New Year celebration of Norouz, traditionally marked by the Haft-Sin table. This arrangement of symbolic elements represents new beginnings, growth, and the cyclical renewal of life.
At the heart of the exhibition is a contemporary interpretation of the Haft-Sin ritual, which serves as a space for self-assertion during times of repression and societal upheaval. Floral artist Gaja Vicic will present a spatial installation that translates the Haft-Sin ritual into a modern form. This installation will be characterized by plants, colors, and selected elements of Haft-Sin, such as apples and garlic, and will be divided into two contrasting landscapes.
Additionally, the sculpture by Caique Tizzi, which incorporates Lavashak (fruit leather), will bring a culinary dimension to the exhibition. The works of the participating artists reflect on regeneration, memory, and the fragile persistence of hope.
