Fragmente der Erinnerung

The exhibition "Fragments of Memory" will take place at GALERIE HEGEMANN in Munich from March 20, 2026, to May 2, 2026. It will showcase works by artists Dieter Nuhr and Jiny Lan, both of whom present different yet complementary approaches to the theme of memory. Jiny Lan, a Chinese-German artist, explores the intersection of personal memory and cultural memory in her works. Her paintings are characterized by layers and emotional intensity, representing memories in a fragmented and condensed manner.

Dieter Nuhr, known as a cabaret artist, contributes his artistic perspective to the exhibition by combining photography and painting in a form of digital painting. His works transform documentary moments into a melancholic visual language that evokes distant memories. The joint exhibition offers a space where the fragment is understood as an invitation to rediscover one's own images of memory. Both artists will be present at the opening on March 20, 2026, at 7 PM.
