Oliver Look – »The work of Pina Bausch through the lens of my camera«

Our exhibition for the Düsseldorf Photo Weekend is running until March 4, 2017. Until then, you can still view the wonderful photographs by Oliver Look in our gallery.

Look's images reveal the world of the internationally renowned dancer and choreographer Pina Bausch and her ensemble, the Tanztheater Wuppertal.

In his photographs, Oliver Look interprets the gestures of the dancers and captures essential moments. The photographer also creates a new, at times poetic approach to Pina Bausch's choreographies – with emotionally charged images that demonstrate extraordinary expressiveness and captivate the viewer.
