PROLOG - Lockere Wolken

The exhibition "loose clouds" brings together nine visual artists, three authors, and two musicians, creating a web of interconnected layers of reflection through diverse mutual interventions.

At the center of this is the medium of drawing, which unites the visual artists in their working methods. However, it does not remain confined to the walls; instead, it engages with the spatial conditions of the Galerie Parterre Berlin, spilling out into the space in an installation-like manner.

The authors intervene in this tension between wall and space with cut-ups, poetry, and prose, exploring the visibility of text. Should this be approached graphically in relation to the medium of drawing? Should one rely on audio or visual recordings, or write by hand? The short texts respond to the works of the exhibiting artists. The two musicians, in turn, compose a soundtrack for the exhibition using text fragments from all participants. (PROLOG 2016) The exhibition was organized by Anton Schwarzbach and Dorit Trebeljahr in collaboration with the Galerie Parterre Berlin.

Opening on April 1, 2016, at 7:30 PM, with a welcome by Kathleen Krenzlin, director of the Galerie Parterre Berlin, and light-hearted words from the artists and authors. Live performance of the exhibition's soundtrack with Patrick WEH Weiland and Futaba Nakayama. Light installation "walk on air" by Stephan Brenn, a making-of video for the exhibition, and an interactive Automatic-Poetry-Performance with Philipp Koch.
