Berliner Dialog

Exhibition Opening at Galerie Parterre Berlin

The exhibition features paintings by Berlin artist Jörg-Uwe Jacob (*1952) and, in collaboration with and with the generous support of the Alexander and Renata Camaro Foundation, a small selection of works by Alexander Camaro (1901 – 1992).

The unique concept of a BERLIN DIALOGUE bridges the gap between East and West as well as between two generations of artists. The aim of the exhibition is to bring both artists into contemporary awareness, sharpen the perception of similarities and differences in their painting, and make these accessible to the viewer in a special way.

At the opening, Ulrich Kavka, art scholar from Schwerin/Berlin, and Kathleen Krenzlin, director of Galerie Parterre Berlin and curator of the exhibition, will speak.

The working booklet V of Galerie Parterre Berlin will be published, featuring texts by Ulrich Kavka, Kathleen Krenzlin, and Anna Krüger, along with biographies and literature references. 40 pages, numerous illustrations.

The exhibition will be on view until November 9 during regular opening hours.

The new art education program: Gern auch farbig! starts on October 1, 2014.
