Free from the obligation to create likenesses of real individuals, Simona Deflorin captures the hidden layers of human character, attitudes, or feelings and the wounds of lived experiences.

This cycle is complemented by additional oil paintings and objects that explore the theme, particularly the glass dome, in various ways.
