SPACE-PAINTING
From Illusionary Space to Real Space

This exhibition focuses on spatial experiences related to non-representational painting, both in the canvas and its expansion into space. The participating artists represent a diverse spectrum of the "extended" canvas. The abandonment of frames, the extension of the picture plane onto the wall, the intrusion into real space, or the creation of a kind of non-representational illusionary space are techniques employed by the artists in this exhibition.
