DOGarta 2013: A comprehensive art exhibition in Frankfurt captivates all dog lovers for the second time

In 2012, the gallery bestregARTs presented a unique photography exhibition in Germany that focused on dogs. The great success of last year's exhibition, which attracted numerous visitors and received 500 press mentions worldwide, has led to its return in 2013 under the name DOGarta. The audience will gain a comprehensive insight into the diverse representation of this loyal companion and its world.

In addition to photographs, visitors can look forward to an exciting mix of painting, sculpture, and video. 18 international artists - Robert Bradford, Sonja Behrens, Zoé Byland, Nadine Cloos, Anna Frydman, Tara Hardy, Shannon Johnstone, Frank Herzog, Serena Hodson, Karoline Koeppel, Ralf Kopp, Hannelore Kroll, Adele Raczkövi, Deborah Sengl, Holy Smoke, Fran Veale, Hugo Vaugier, and Scott Witter – will showcase their works.

The exhibition is presented under the patronage of VOX veterinarian Dr. Wolf and honorary guest Dolly Buster, both of whom will be present at the vernissage.

All participants are particularly concerned about the welfare of animals, which is why a portion of the exhibition's proceeds will benefit homeless dogs. A charitable animal welfare project will be determined by our patron.

The vernissage will take place on November 22, 2013, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Registration by email (info@bestregarts.de) is requested by November 15. The entry fee is €12.00. Dog owners are welcome to bring their four-legged friends. They can lounge in the "Dogs in the City" area or participate as DOGarta stars in the performance by photographer Vaugier. All two-legged guests will enjoy a selection of wines and small treats alongside the art.

The exhibition will be on view from November 23 to December 20, 2013, every Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Admission is €3.00.
