With the solo exhibition THE DOG ́S DINNER, GALERIE PETRA
NOSTHEIDE-EŸCKE is delighted to present for the first time
the works of the English artist duo Shaun Doyle & Mally
Mallinson, who studied at the Wimbledon School of Art,
London. Their works are currently at the Saatchi Gallery and
have also been seen at the Tate Modern and in the
Whitechapel Gallery in London. In their works, the artists
grapple with socio-political, social and historical themes,
employing an eclectic mix of cultural references. By
incorporating humour and cynicism, they address behaviour
patterns and values in today’s society, which they see as
corrupt, dubious, and untrustworthy. In the satirical
installation THE DOG ́S DINNER, we are pleased to show
collages, works on paper and sculptures by the artist duo
Shaun Doyle & Mally Mallinson now in Düsseldorf.
