Ausstellung "VOM BLEIBEN UND DAVONFLIEGEN" von STEPHANIE IFFERT

May 17th to June 13th 2013; the artists Stephanie Iffert
and Ute Schätzmüller show their work in the gallery
Kunst-Projekt Forma: t. While Iffert pursues the question
of human needs and desires, Ute Schätzmüller puts the
imaginary appearance of the chimera in the foreground.

The Berlin-based artist Stephanie Iffert is using a special
material for her work: black earth. From this she creates
partly figurative, partly abstract bizarre sculptures. By
applying earth to the canvas the artist creates a very
idiosyncratic appearance. Occupied with the question of
human needs and desires Iffert pursued the exhibition
"from Stay and fly away". The bird, the human figure and
the earth are recurring elements in her work. They can
be regarded as a metaphor for the enduring, the change
and the ephemeral.
