Katharina Schnitzler, a researcher in the in-between, confronts us with our perceptions of assumed realities. She creates visual worlds that subjectively fulfill the human need for solutions. In her work, she layers countless textures, color fields, drawings, and text. The result is paintings that are installed, poetic, profound, humorous, intricately woven, and simultaneously brutal and beautiful!
