Der Umweltschrei

"The Environmental Scream" is part of an extensive exhibition at the Hameln Hochzeitshaus, showcasing projects focused on environmental protection, climate change, and water conservation. New research and developments presented there already demonstrate practical and replicable environmental solutions that yield astonishing results: Hans-Jörg Hamann and his team in Vietnam are not only producing the world's first 100% wastewater-free bio jeans, but also remarkable paintings made from the dye substances generated during the denim finishing process.

Currently, the exhibition features 35 paintings, including "The Environmental Scream," as well as various bio jeans, each a unique designer piece.

The venue itself, the Hameln Hochzeitshaus located in the pedestrian zone of the town of the Pied Piper, is one of the most beautiful historic buildings in Germany, with a long and varied history, constructed in the 17th century, specifically between 1610 and 1617.

The exhibition runs until December 30, 2012, and is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Admission is free.
