In a solo show, Galerie flash presents the latest works of Hungarian-German artist Saskia Porkay under the title "Prime Time."

Porkay spent her early childhood in the artistic district of Schwabing in Munich. Accompanied by her father, Martin Porkay, an art expert in Old Masters and art mediator, she visited the great museums of the world. The fascination she felt from her father's art library sparked her interest in painting at an early age.

She prefers abstract painting because it speaks an international language, knows no religious constraints, and is timeless. She describes her works as a preservation of the creative moment, where any sense of time and space loses its significance. Her often very unusual color compositions consistently create a surprise effect. The multi-layered color fields give rise to the characteristic plastic structures found in her works. She masters color even on large surfaces, and her compositions illustrate the balancing act between clear structure and the play of chance. Her pronounced sense of humor and cosmopolitan worldview are reflected in the choice of her titles.
