.spatiotemporal
In the exhibition .spatiotemporal, Galerie Thomas Crämer presents new works by Axel Anklam, Matthias Pabsch, and Christopher Sage within a unique architectural setting.
The architecture of a transportable space extension hall from the former GDR serves as the aesthetic framework for the exhibition. A past architectural concept, now only rudimentarily traceable, engages in an aesthetic and conceptual dialogue with the artists' works. Past and present, loss and rediscovery, space and time—these are the pairs of concepts that everyone encounters in their lives. In the group exhibition .spatiotemporal, the three exhibiting artists explore a way of engaging with their personal aesthetic memory through their works. On one hand, there is the engagement with the architectural design of the space; on the other, the visualization of personal color and spatial memories. The works synchronize their conceptual orientations, despite being fundamentally different from one another, in a way that allows the viewer to become part of the exhibition.
During Berlin Art Week, Galerie Thomas Crämer offers visitors to the exhibition a free shuttle service to ABC, Preview Berlin, and the group exhibition "nervus rerum." at the gallery's showroom on Heidestraße 52.
