Secrets in Faces and Forms

The works of the Darmstadt painter VERO/Veronika Emendörfer emerge directly from a spontaneous and dynamic application of color. VERO's new paintings in watercolor and mixed media feature sphinx-like faces and figures that she discovers, develops, and brings to light through an experimental painting process. These are not personal portraits of celebrities, stars, or artists; rather, her exhibits display transpersonal traits. They captivate with intense colors, painterly textures, and strong contrasts. Viewers are invited to look closely to unravel the riddle of the Sphinx for themselves.

The Langheinz Art Gallery (Schulstraße 10 in Darmstadt) presents a selection of works by VERO/Veronika Emendörfer in its exhibition "Secrets in Faces and Forms."
