Triologie des Loches

Black hole, white hole, creative hole. The hole is a well-known phenomenon – diverse and elusive. It represents nothingness and emptiness, lack and damage, passage and opening, shelter and cave, possibility and salvation. A hole exists where something is missing, and conversely, it cannot exist where there is nothing.

From June 13 to August 12, 2012, Kunstverein Neukölln takes the "hole" literally and opens the gallery spaces of kunstraum t27 as a "free space" for artistic production and presentation, as well as a "refuge" for living and sleeping, for three artists in succession.

The artists selected through an open call will move into kunstraum t27 for 9 days each. Following 7 days of artistic production on the theme, there will be 2 days of presentation featuring an opening and an artist talk.
