Black Holes - There Is No Modicum Of Hope

The exhibition addresses the theme of loss. Everyone has experienced loss at some point in their lives. The death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or the decline of one's health—these are events or fates that can plunge one into a deep, dark abyss. A dark spot in an otherwise beautiful, colorful life. An emptiness that can make one feel oppressed, sad, lonely, and so on, for a shorter or longer period of time. An event that robs one of the joy of living. The stark contrast between the vibrant, life-affirming areas of the artworks and the "black holes" is meant to convey this state.
