"La Ciudad Imaginada"

You are invited to the opening on Friday, June 29, starting at 7 PM in the presence of the artist.

Under the title "La Ciudad Imaginada," Galerie flash presents works by the Chilean artist Alejandro Soto, who lives in Hamburg, in this latest exhibition.

Soto studied Experimental Architecture in Valparaiso, Chile. A defining characteristic of his work is the combination of elements from Abstract Painting and architectural representation through multilayered applications of color.

In his first solo exhibition in Munich, Soto engages with the state capital.

Until now, he has only known it through photos, films, and stories. This tension between media familiarity and real distance is the theme Soto explores.

Exhibition runs until July 21, 2012.
