In the exhibition "It Could Also Be Japan - Destruction and Evolution," Channah Arc presents contrasts of life through sometimes drastic visual imagery: impulses and impressions of life emerge. Associations with decline and rise/new beginnings, with the processes of dying and becoming.

One cannot help but gain insights into deeper psychological terrain, beyond the outer aesthetics of life. Aspects of life confront each other, forming a cycle, a "way of life."

From the beginning to the end and back again is the impression conveyed here, bringing with it chills and shivers. The everyday spirit of these images points to the harsh realism of the inner psyche and does not obscure the true meaning of life, but rather highlights its existence with all its sounds and colors.
