Artists from Kunstverein Neukölln e.V. present Mail Art objects Curated by Jasmin Höher-Kosel and Karl Menzen

At kunstraum t27, we showcase the submissions from artists of Kunstverein Neukölln e.V. for the Mail Art exhibition themed "Package." This extensive exhibition reveals diverse artistic interpretations of the "package" as an art object. In addition to the 250 artists from the gallery, guest artists Renate Wiedemann and Susanne Ruoff are also invited.

The package, a cuboid (hollow) body that serves as both content and packaging, transforms into an art object. The broad spectrum of meanings and uses of the package ranges from its practical function of packaging and protection (for a known or unknown content to the recipient) to metaphorical interpretations. Specific dimensions for the package size have been set, presenting an additional artistic challenge.
