DIE WERKZEUGE DER GOTTESANBETERINNEN, SVENJA RITTER/ SEXED UP, GESINE KIKOL

GALERIE PETRA NOSTHEIDE-EŸCKE is celebrating its reopening on September 3rd with a double exhibition. We are presenting new works by Svenja Ritter and Gesine Kikol.

At the opening, speeches will be given by Mayor Friedrich Conzen of Düsseldorf and Prof. Jörg Eberhard from Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.

Svenja Ritter, an artist from Karlsruhe, titles her series “The Tools of the Praying Mantis,” where she juxtaposes the ephemeral and the morbid against life.

We will showcase Gesine Kikol, a master student of Jörg Immendorf, with her “Sexed up” images and drawings that depict “the little death in colors.”
